Police Helicopter Footage of May Day Protests & Arrests in Seattle

This group of police helicopter videos shows scenes from anti-capitalist protesters in Seattle during the city’s May Day 2016 demonstrations. Seattle police say they made nine arrests during the protests, including eight males and one juvenile female. Five arrests were for obstruction, three for assault, and one for destruction of property. On the “other” side, five officers were injured. One officer was struck by a rock in the head, one was injured but not burned by a molotov cocktail, and one was bitten – yes, bitten – by a protester.

  1. I like how in hindsight the "peaceful protests" were happening back in 2018 (nothing against the actual peaceful ones I should add).

    Applauding the coordination @ 3:42

  2. I could use this video to explain death by thousand cuts in low intensity conflict zones to my units soldiers and other clips could be used to explain and teach about divide and conquer.the radio chatter could be used to teach junior officers about importance of communications and the dos and donts lol

  3. guessing some of those bike officers actually have some of those LED bike lights that can be put into strobe mode onto of their helmets, but have never seen a department that actually has this many bike patrol officers, some bike shop looks like did one heck of a business selling them all those mtn bikes.,…..

  4. “Yeah let’s get some officers ahead of these guys to protect that Starbucks and then we’ll shove em into the Costco Parkin lot” 🤣😂🤣😂🏋️‍♀️🤸‍♂️💨

  5. This is why police should be encouraged to use automatic pepper ball weapons.
Some nice pepper balls to the face would help discourage the rock throwing and hitting people in the head.

  6. The best thing about capitalism is that even revolt is extremely profitable. Consumer goods, target advertisements to disenfranchised and misguided youths to trend their purchases under the misconception of fighting the established orders. In the end, even when you take part in these protests you have likely made a ton of purchases to get it off the ground. Revolt is very marketable. Isn't this a brilliant country we live in?

  7. anti-capitalist= I don't want to work…I want everything for free…I want you to give it to me…

  8. Herd them in to a Costco lot? Herd these communist scum off a cliff in to the ocean. These unwashed basement dwelling scum could use the bath!

  9. Very nice police work !! Herding them into the parking lot and surrounding them was very impressive.
Personally, I would have liked it if the police arrested them ALL, and then sent these Nutcases to a Mental Ward to be mentally evaluated. Those that passed the Mental Test could leave, those that did not would have to stay in the Mental Ward for a long period of time. If we had Mental Wards anymore.
But at least ALL of these Crazies would be on record in the for being arrested. I wonder how that would look to their current employer or (if not employed) for their first interview For A Job !
