At the start they could have ended the chase by cutting the dude off
Why didn't they pit her? Sure, it fortunately turned out okay this time, but they should have done a pit maneuver and then bashed her face in with a baton. That would have been a much more effective deterrent for the future.

Here in Germany we have a zero alcohol law on the wheel for everyone in the first two years or at least the age of 21 and i must say its a good thing to have. Even if they catch you with 0.1%o your license will be revoked on the street and you'll have to attend a very costly class to regain the right to do your license all over again. Alcohol and driving is just like fire and water, except it kills people
