PART 9 of 10 @CopsConsTV obtained New Mexico State Police body worn camera footage of an interview with Lt. Justin Powers with the Deming Fire Department.
Lt. Power responded to the scene of Officer Jarrott and observed HSI agents working on him. Officer Jarrott’s front police vest was cut off when he arrived, he was already exposed.
Bandaging had been applied on Officer Jarrott’s wounds. Officer Jarrott was pulseless and not breathing. There were two penetrating injuries to the left chest, one to the right chest and a head injury. Officer Jarrott did not respond to any of the resuscitation efforts. The Medical control Doctor advised to discontinue CPR. They left Officer Jarrott in the same position that they were treating him medically. There was a long shell casing and a bullet fragment (bullet without the casing) on the shoulder of the road near Officer Jarrott.
