Out of Control Drunk Mayor Wants His Arresting Cops Fired

@CopsConsTV obtained body camera footage of an incident where Fort Wayne, Indiana Mayor Tom Henry was involved in a traffic crash. A responding officer noticed a smell of alcohol emitting from Henry. The police department carefully and thoroughly investigated the DWI and crash. Mayor Henry became verbally combative during the stop and demanded the police chief be called.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a chemical test found Henry’s blood-alcohol-content was .152%,, and he was arrested on two misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

A plea agreement was reached in early November whereas it required Henry to pay $3,166 in restitution as well as a $25 fine and nearly $800 in court costs and filing fees. The plea agreement also called for Henry to not drink and also submit to random alcohol or drug tests for 365 days.

  1. For the love of God Officers grow a pair and do your jobs! Fear of losing your job is ridiculous is in this situation. Everything is on video so what’s there to worry about? Just do your job like you would if this was John Doe that was drinking and driving. This is embarrassing hoe these Officers are laughing at the Mayors tired ass jokes like he was Larry the Cable Guy! Pathetic!

  2. I wonder if the Mayor is going to try to use his power after he gets released. I also don't get why anyone thinks its okay to drink while driving. Geez … did he assume its okay because he's the Mayor?

  3. Good cops doing their job…..this mayor needs to be impeached for his behavior. Public officials think they should get SPECIAL treatment when they should actually get higher penalties when they do bad things.

  4. This guy has probably been doing this his whole life and getting away with it. I dont care if you're a mayor or you work at McDonald's, I don't want myself or anyone getting killed. The ego on this guy is incredible.

  5. Those officers needed to be more stern with old Tommy boy. He acted the way he did, because they let him. Thanks for sharing

  6. I wonder if they followed his last request. I’d love to know how his 6hrs went. Always nice seeing when their money doesn’t do quiet as much for them as they would have liked. He expects everyone to crawl out of bed because he fucked up.

  7. Handcuffed in front with extra furry cuffs, allowed to keep his phone when initially placed in the car, a really gentle pat down, allowed to keep his belt, now that's what I call a star treatment….

  8. I’m embarrassed for his wife and mother in law. What a chump! If he really cared about them or their safety, he would have got them a ride home from the fund raiser.

  9. They coddled him from the get go. Had it been anyone else they would just handle it as a DUI. It doesn't take that many units and LE to handle a simple DUI. You don't let the driver walk around for that long as they want. The LE should be embarrassed as to how they handled this incident

  10. the officers did everything the way they should have, the nmayor is wrong for threating aand making these officersa feel like they were wrong when in reallity he was the one trhat put himself in that situation, the fact that these officers were intimindated to do there job, right a way shows that every case this mayor sat on should be lookled into, and he owes all of them an apology. for creating a hostile working environment.

  11. This type of behavior makes me so angry. We had a mayor of my city years ago that not only hit a taxi while drunk driving in his city vehicle, he ran and hid in parking lot of an apartment building a short ways from the scene. He wasn't charged with anything, even after the state investigated. Only change that was made is that our mayor no longer gets a city vehicle. It's absurd. Totally different laws for the rest of us.

  12. Any cops or former cops…
Who would have worried you more:
    Pulling over a politician ❓
Pulling over a cop you knew ❓
Pulling over a cop you don’t know (like from a neighboring city or a different agency) ❓

  13. That mayor enjoyed all those alcoholic beverages, compliments of the tax payers. He’s too old to be governing over a city anyway. Go to bed grandpa.
