A Corpus Christi Police Officer witnessed a green 1995 Chevy Suburban travel west at a high rate of speed on the South Padre Island Drive freeway and take the turn to travel south on the Crosstown Expressway.

The Officer saw the Suburban crash against the wall and the vehicle began to catch fire. The Officer then went to the vehicle, broke the window with his baton, and pulled the 29 year old man to safety before the fire fully engulfed the vehicle.

  1. Their window breaking technique works just when they want to escalate a situation, not when they'r trying to help.
