Officer Accidentally Helps Film Anti-Police Rap Music Video

More coverage of rap, but this time the cops are on the inside.

In mid-2017 Cleveland Police Officer Ken Kirk was approached by a group of four black males who asked for his help with the filming of a music video. Instead of telling you Officer Kirk’s story, this video features the man himself with a first-person retelling.

Accordingly, and without further ado, I present Officer Ken Kirk in a combination of ‘a Garrity interview’ and ‘The Race.’

  1. This police officer was doing right by trying to have good relations with the community. He did not know what they were going to do. I hope he appealed this to the civil service commission. Further, I hope the rappers make an even better video about the Internal Affairs Division.

  2. "this would affect how people look at us" Ya, like every corrupt cop movie out there, does the same thing.

  3. I love this cop, he is a good one.let him be.don't respect the meltimg again??you are promoting a real war between civilians and cops

  4. The cop seems like an extremely nice dude! It seems like he was just trying to display law enforcement in a positive way! It might of been wise to get approval before helping them out though…

  5. That blows, 5 days pay can be a big deal for some, sucks but he didn't follow proper procedure sooooo yeah

  6. This was foolish on so many levels these guys could have been taking him somewhere where they could steal his gun his car kill him anything to go off with these guys without letting anybody know without getting permission was such foolish poor judgement it Beggars belief

  7. lol you wanna be a come? It will be fun they say! You're need they say! But as soon as you blink you get fucked by your own. hahahahha

  8. the video is really good love the song thanks cop👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👑👑

  9. The real mistake in all this, is that he did this while on duty, the fact that they betrayed him for his trust and him doing it at all was the icing on the cake. Sadly.

  10. Real World Cop. Catchy title. Definitely misinformation. The video isnt anti cop. A rapper named Tay K made a video about "The race" or running from the cops. This guy, in a sort of "homage" used the same beat, but showed himself getting caught. One could say, its pro-police, but not far from anti. Also the internal investigation is unnecessary and they are punishing a good cop, further putting strain on police-community relations.

  11. Sounds like a good man. He said when roll calls done i head strait to my car and patrol, i dont kicc it in the front office like everybody else 😂😂😂😂😂

  12. 1 week suspension is still better than being fired. I'm sure there are rules clearly stating police equipment should only be used for police business not entertainment. Now if the song was talking about how police keep cities safe would he have gotten a suspension?
