@CopsConsTV obtained lapel footage of a March 16th, 2021 incident with Westerville Police and an off duty Columbus Ohio Police officer of a suspicion of DWI. The suspect was Jay Graham. Officers observed Graham driving over a median.
When pulled over Graham identified himself as a Columbus Police officer and told officers he had a firearm on his leg.
Graham performed a variety of sobriety tests administered by the officer. He was placed under arrest.
He was charged with OVI and improper handling of a firearm.
He agreed to a plea deal OVI amended to physical control. Graham also pled guilty to attempted improper handling of a firearm. Sentence includes 5 day days in jail before the end of year, private gun confiscated and destroyed, suspended license with work privileges. His gun was destroyed.
Columbus Police has Graham on administrative review while they investigate his case and if any misconduct happened.
