the best caliber is the one that you can carry daily comfortably and you can hit a target at 15 yards.

I use the glock 19 as my duty gun fits my average size hands perfect

I bought a Glock 36 (.45) but I'm that guy that takes forever at the range to reload because of the low-cap magazines! Qualifying with it was a bitch in terms of capacity.
G18 is full auto I think Mike means the G19.
