About the color. The white paint job on these P71 cars is known to be cheap and easily flakes off.
When checking out ex-police cars you might consider the color along with the mechanical state of the cars. Something to keep in mind.

A friend of mine bought a 2004 CVPI that had the typical cheap looking wheel covers on it. He wanted wheels… I said "you've got wheels, they just need a makeover." I popped the covers off, sanded, primed and painted the steelies with a gun metal metallic, put on some beauty rings and the OEM center cap and it looked sweet!
