Man Armed with Fake Gun is Tasered

Albuquerque – 01-12-2020 22 year old Larime Lowe 22 of Albuquerque was arrested Sunday morning by Albuquerque Police. Several calls came into 911 saying there was a male subject walking around the downtown area waving a gun.

Albuquerque Police Officers located the male subject at 1st St and Central as he was walking west. When the male noticed Officers following him he became agitated and verbally abusive towards officers. The male was tackled by Officers after taser darts did not penetrate the subjects heavy clothing.

A gun is seen in the video in the males right front pocket while he is being arrested. The gun was immediately recovered and secured from the suspect. The gun resembled an actual firearm but turned out to be a pellet gun. The male was ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct and booked into the Metro Detention Center.

Disorderly conduct was charged since the gun was not real and no victims came forward saying he pointed the gun at them.

  1. Any reason they're not getting him out of the road. They always get suspect off the ground almost immediately, so why keep him in the road? Not that I'm concerned for the idiot in cuffs but somebody might need that Lane. Mooove b*tch get out the way

  2. He is trash, but I commend the officers. He was resisting. They took him down. Hey pinned him. Once he was handcuffed, the police didn't just sit on his neck and slowly strangle him to death for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. This is what we expect from the police…

  3. well, i guess i dont have to spend 41 minutes watching this video, since the whole thing was given away in the first 30 seconds.. thanks, i guess.

  4. At what point in his existence did he decide that people who work for a living are the lowlifes and people who act like him are the upstanding citizens?

  5. Loads of respect for all these offficers this could of gone real bad quickly, but common sense and good policeing saved this guy, and after incident protocol outstanding.

  6. I like the officer's kind rapport with the kid. Seems like this department has their stuff together. I was a little impressed.
