LOST Off Duty Cop Pulled Over for DWI in His Unmarked Police Car

@CopsConsTV obtained lapel video from Sandoval County of a drunk driver incident involving Albuquerque Police Department Nick Laskar being pulled over for erratic driving on Zia Pueblo land. A Zia Pueblo Police officer pulled over Laskar.

The officer requested Sandoval County Sheriff’s officers for back up on the case. The County took over the case and performed the sobriety tests. Laskar failed them and he was placed under arrest. He was taken to Sandoval County Detention Center where he agreed to one breath test and blew a .20 BAC.

The Albuquerque Police Department vehicle was retrieved from scene and Laskar no longer works for APD. His trial is pending.

  1. Love how these drunk drivers constantly say sorry after sorry they know there guilty and been drinking so deep down its their conscience showing some form of normality. Sad thing is he will probably get caught again not far from this arrest, so not sorry at all.

  2. I often wonder how quickly the officers suspect the driver is probably impaired due to alcohol or other substance

  3. A cop I know who is ex M.P actually told me that a lot of these are scripted and they are sort of designed for when people say i bet you wouldn't treat another cop this way,and seriously they are probably right because cops have covered up for each other over much more serious crimes you only have to look around at drug money and drugs that disappear from police stations and evidence while some are not going to like my comment just look at 60 minutes and or under investigation at cops that have been caught and charged with murders usually only by internal police.

  4. Not only that! But they can't make you just sit there beside the road for hours and hours and days and days waiting for some hypothetical supervisor I said screw you I'm about to be going on my way home! good day

  5. Title needs a small correction:
It should read lost cop in his unmarked vehicle gets stopped by another cop in another unmarked vehicle.
So much for the ‘only clearly marked units perform traffic duty’. Such a flippin lie.

Unmarked police cars make the streets more dangerous for everyone, but especially for women drivers. Too easy for police imposters, all because legitimate police forces allow/use unmarked or ghost lettered vehicles.

  6. Wow could you imagine trying to use that body cam in court when you can't even hear what's being said they'd have a pretty tough time claiming anything with that wind noise! Isn't it funny how police officers or anybody in law enforcement get special privileges when they're suspected of DUI I mean he gets to stand there and talk and talk and do everything and blah blah blah when a regular citizen would be immediately have to do the sobriety test and stuff like that but this guy gets to stand around and let it wear off before they do anything which is a bunch of b******! That test should have been done immediately if you didn't want to do the fields Friday test then he should have been made to have to do the breathalyzer right away not wait 20 minutes or half an hour later right then and there and if he didn't want to do that then you handcuffed and threw him in the f***** back of the police car take him down the station and make him do it! I'm sick of police having special treatment and it needs to stop! Not only that the officer that pulls him over if they do not do that tobriety test or breathalyzer or take them down to the station then they should be arrested for obstruction of justice just like they like to throw that on regular citizens!
