  1. i think most people dont watch the news and they learned from personal experience. if u walk at night getting off a second shift factory job or fast food you will be harassed and stopped and searched

  2. I have NEVER in my 80 years ever had any trouble with a cop! I treat all officers with respect and have never had anything but respect shown back to me! I can attest to 4 incidents in my life where I was clearly at fault and deserved tickets, 2 of them I should have been taken in but because I was truthful and courteous, was warned and released! Cops are human too, and make judgements by how you respond !

  3. A good cop is one who will never let a bad cop go unpunished, A good cop is one who will not allow a gun be his default setting and therefore shoot unarmed civilians because using a taser or pepper spray is too much effort and anyway the other cops will cover for him even his boss, A good cop WILL stand up and say to a colleague NO! that is NOT how it is done instead of taking the path of least resistance and saying nothing, A good cop knows all of this without being told and if he or she has been properly trained and will take it as a source of pride that they do not behave as some bad cops do and be a beacon of pride for that particular police force who still believes the motto Ò€œTo protect and serveÒ€ still has a meaning, A good cop will step in when a handcuffed suspect is being beaten badly by a bad cop, Sadly these days the bad cops get the press and it is these very cops that by their actions make a good cops job much harder and far more dangerous.

  4. I will NEVER let the actions of a few make me hate all… I will always appreciate our men and women in blue and I'll always be greatful for all you guys do!! Xoxo
    Thank you for your serviceҝ€Ò€Ò€

  5. The criteria for being a cop is being a good cop. That's it. All public should have confidence in all law enforcement officers, cops work hard to train and protect every one.

  6. I think allot of the disdain for cops comes from the news and hollywood. Ya know the typical story where the good detective works in a department that is so corrupt that all other cops talk behind his back saying "fucking boy scout". Now obviously there is corruption, but is it the majority? I don't think so.

  7. No good cops exist because of our system. As long as you and your gang continue to harass and abuse non violent drug offenders then there will never be any good cops unless they rebel against their own system. DonÒ€ℒt say youÒ€ℒre serving my family if you canÒ€ℒt hold up the constitution, because all you are doing is hurting and harassing our people and destroying the morale fabric of our society. You wouldnÒ€ℒt understand that because you guys have low education requirements, which allows idiots like you to have more rights than the average man and you to then abuse that power. No there are no good cops and you trying to say that there are just proves how uneducated you guys are

  8. I don't understand why police officers still try to enforce a law that is unjustified especially when it's coming a corrupted as Government

  9. I agree with you officer, but the problem is that the bad cops often get away with crimes that the average citizen would do 25 to life for. I say bad cops should do 25 to life too, if not do more, for violating the trust of the people they gave their oath, to serve and protect. When a sheep dog, becomes the bad wolf, that wolf should be handled like any other bad wolf. Police officers should see the bad apples among them, as someone dishonoring their noble profession/vocation. They shouldn't protect the bad ones, because it hurts all of the good ones.

The honor and reputation of your department, your profession, you as an individual, rests upon how you enforce the law. If you're fair and hold even your fellow officers accountable, as you do me, the average Joe walking down the street, then that shows you're truly a professional, who takes his profession seriously. An honorable, reputable person, worthy of respect and admiration.

Bad cops should be punished, just like everybody else.

  10. Right, Mike. Now tell the truth about the "Good Cops", who are ostracized by their Depts. for doing the right thing! Those cops are never promoted, they come to realize that no one has their back and they are on their own out there! All because they did the "Right Thing". Get real Mike! Or, are YOU one of those? What side, Mike, are you on!?

  11. This video was 100% true. Yet our society decides to support criminals over cops people who are out there everyday protecting us.
