Its true there is no way to tell how many rounds will be needed. Just because the average shooting for police is 3 rounds and the average for citizens is 2, its just an average. A person may drop to a pellet gun crying while another can take multiple hits from slugs. Evan pepper spray can take a couple seconds to really take effect or have no effect at all especially with dogs. The only tool I ever found worked well every time was a D cell Maglite. For dogs which few seem to talk about I have found even when they are in a full on fight a Stun Gun works well even if not in contact the electrical sound seems to scare the crap out of them, and in my opinion is a good first option before shoving your thumb in their rectum which works well also.

The handbook of every work place I've been employed with have all stated to refrain from discussing religion or politics within the workplace. The players in the NFL should follow the same rules. If they want to protest they should do it on their own time. I know this is a year old. I'm catching up. Leave me alone. 🙂
My opinion use to be that kneeling was disrespectful, until it was pointed out to me that he started out sitting. He only started kneeling after a conversation with a vet who suggested kneeling as a way of conducting his protest while still being respectful towards the flag.
I think making the protest against cops is the wrong direction to take though. I think they should focus on things like law makers reassessing laws regarding drug policy and mandatory minimum sentences.

My opinion is everyone should stand for our national anthem if not it’s like spitting in the men years and years ago died for nothing and the latest fallen soldiers died in vein who is to say where we ( Americans) would be had they not fought for us which gives us the right to use our amendments that ppl love to throw around like I’m using my first amendment you know freedom of speech ya right like they truly understand how it all came about I don’t care what ppl have to say if your pissed at your coach or the owners of your team take it up like men you know like the men who took a bullet for you to do it. Being a vet, the topic of kneeling during the anthem is a double edged sword. It hurts because the disrespect for what it cost to have that freedom is something I'll always deal with. That said, most servicemembers join because they believe in the ideals the country was built on. The players have the freedom to do as they believe, but everyone else has the right to interpret their actions how they please. Sad thing is I doubt that that will be the last season we see this happen.
Black NFL players don't kneel for the National Anthem, that's disgusting! Only white people stand up, white people are good.

Recent subscriber, binging all your stuff. In regards to the kneeling, criticism is not disrespect. I think thise players are actimg in goid faith to respond to a perceived injustice. The best way to combat their sense that widespread injustice is happening is channels like this.
I think we have to understand the true meaning of the national anthem. If we study the words, you will find it to be racist. Please study it before responding to this post.

My only question/comment is police and citizens should be treated the same when it comes to defensive shootings, but we both know they’re not so why?
In fact a police officer should have a higher tolerance for exposure and threat to personal safety than a citizen
So flip the script, if a citizen was engaged in a similar struggle they would be arrested for manslaughter at minimum before being cleared, if cleared at all.
How is it ok for a cop to assume an item is a weapon or be in fear of injury when that defense lands good armed citizens in jail yet cops get away with it?
Cops do not get treated the same in defensive shootings and it is not right or fair.
Life’s not fair I know but think if every person involved in a defensive shooting police or citizen was treated the same with respect to investigation people overall would feel better in knowing “hey if I was in that situation, I could have defended myself without hesitation and been legal.

Would it not be reasonable to demand everyone who uses force police and citizen alike be treated the same when being investigated.
One other issue I raise which is not at all something directly related to shootings but falls in same arena:
LEO vs armed citizen: how is it cops can brandish firearms because they feel it’s warranted yet let a citizen do the same (feel its warranted)and they get arrested.
Is it ok to you that a citizen defending themselves in whatever manner necessary gets arrested while cops get to go home after the shift?
That is not equal justice, justice should have no favor of LE O over citizen
as a police officer you are in a unique position to advocate for equal treatment of LEO and armed citizen defensive shootings and defense of self and others alike even when no shooting occurs.
Equal treatment of LEO and citizens who defend themselves and eliminate perceived threats is something that would indeed level the playing field against those who claim corrupt bias in favor of police
So to recap: Defensive situations regardless of LEO or citizen should be viewed through the same lens of scrutiny because at the end of the day we are all citizens together
The only difference is LEO’s are given a major privilege and responsibility of enforcing law in civil society with no additional rights or privilege afforded
But again as we both know they are not treated the same many times armed citizens are mistreated as criminals put in jail, miss work, and have legal bills in these situations while cops get paid leave and defend by the union lawyer.
I have not heard any comments in any videos with respect to how citizens are treated in defensive situations versus police so I figured I’d post somewhere might as well be here

the nfl stadiums are build with tax payer money……..so in a way no they are not quite so private without our say as a public. we can say that we no longer will allow taxes to be spent on stadiums.

The people kneeling aren't victimized. They are bringing attention to those that are.
The demonstrations being carried out by professional NFL players has been recklessly derailed by this arbitrary argument that the gesture of kneeling is "disrespectful" to the military. And associating the American flag with the American military is an equally arbitrary association. If the American flag is argued to represent America, then it represents ALL of America, not just the military. It represents the entire array of citizens of America, and not solely those who serve in the military. The accusations of "disrespect" are nothing but a faux rage being declared by those whose own patriotism is disengenuous at best.
No one individual, no minority or majority segment of the population, and no institution or organization, has the authority to unilaterally define, or otherwise usurp, the definition of "patriotism", and then proceed to tyrannically impose that nationalistic definition on the rest of what is a very diverse society. It is the epitome of hypocrisy to simplistically define what is "disrespectful" while we argue for the legal right to discriminate against certain segments of the population while simultaneously ignoring, or even rationalizing, legitimate threats or acts of violence from other segments, just because that violence might originate from the very same part of society who wants the legal right to discriminate. We cannot legitimately rationalize those who commit mass murder with guns as being "lone wolfs with mental illness" whose actions represent only themselves while condemning the individual acts of Muslims as being representative of the evil of all Muslims.
Kneeling during the National Anthem is not an act of disrespect toward the military. But it could be argued that we as a country have failed the tens of thousands of homeless veterans sleeping on the streets on any given night. I think that our indifference to those discarded and forgotten service members might go beyond "disrespectful". Or maybe we could invest more concern on the average of 22 veterans who kill themselves everyday rather than expressing faux outrage at NFL players who are trying to create awareness of a legitimate cause. Patriotism is a concept that has always been conveyed with particularly simplistic thinking in America.
