On February 19, 2021, retired Major League Baseball outfielder Johnny Damon was arrested for DUI and resisting without violence. On August 5, 2021, Damon entered into a pretrial diversion agreement — coincidentally, that happened just a couple of weeks after his arresting officer was arrested by the FBI. On March 15, 2022, Damon successfully completed pretrial diversion and his DUI charge was dropped; prosecutors never filed the resisting without violence charge.

Dude seems like a really good dude to be honest that made a fucking mistake! Like every other human being on the planet! It is hard not to respect a man that became one of the best athletes at his sport in the whole world, made millions of dollars and didn't become an asshole thinking he was better than everyone else. The cop seemed like a bitch and I understand DUI is serious but come-on!
I had to rush to the scene of my son’s accident only to find him like this, asking me if he appears drunk… yes son, you need help like this man.

Don’t answer questions, don’t talk to the police without a lawyer present, and never take any DWI test people. I quit drinking 24 years ago but I had lots of DWIs I’m telling you from my own personal mistake. Never take the test never answer questions. Never
Just catch a Uber man too many people lost family members due to a intoxicated driver. I get it we want to have fun but cmon we have to do better. Before you start drinking just have a plan to get home safe that doesn’t involve you driving anything.
