1. Make no mistake: I condemn the actions of these officers as dehumanizing George Floyd and being complicit in his death. I cannot say, based on facts – not emotions, that they killed in in a direct fashion, but that doesn't make them not responsible either. Any criticism you have for me, please make sure you at least watch the video and what I actually say about it vs. just your assumptions. I do not support the actions of these officers nor do I believe that it is representative of what law enforcement is to be about.

2. Your GANG Insignia, "Thin Blue Line" Flag, is 100% against the UNITED STATES CODE TITLE 18-Part I. CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE-CHAPTER 33 – EMBLEMS, INSIGNIA, AND NAMES § 700-Desecration of the flag of the United States-Specifically Subsection (a)(1) – “Whoever knowingly mutilates, defaces, physically defiles, burns, maintains on the floor or ground, or tramples upon any flag of the United States shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both.”

   Also 4 U.S. Code § 8 – Respect for flag – No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Also (g) The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature. Also (i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. At last (k) The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.

3. Total bias from Mike. The other guy just can’t speak freely due to being on the job. The discussion is garbage without value. It takes the George Floyd incident for you all to say ANYTHING even close to how messed up cops are.

4. I am sooooo damn tired of this "Mike the Cop" trying to white-wash things.! There is not one right minded person who would argue or deny that America is polluted with hate, racism, and prejudice. And we have seen videos exposing law enforcement (as well as any other segment of American society) engaged in some form of racial bias or racial profiling. Yet, he does everything in his power not to just blatantly condemn white racist police officers. If he cannot condemn racist cops without trying to legitimize their criminal and racist actions, guess what, he is no different that the people he defend.

5. What I’m taking from this is that you as a cop and other cops aren’t gonna take anything seriously your just gonna keep killing people for no reason and never take responsibility even if you know ur guilty

   Brown died because he attacked an officer while attempting to take his gun.
   The solution is simple. Stop committing crimes. Be polite. Don't resist arrest. If the above is too hard for you, 'RACE IPSA LOQUITOR'.

10. What can you as a good cop can you do to reform police like the criminals who killed George Floyd
    And you're wrong do you not being able to speak out against abuse of power one of the things cops are lacking these days are compassion I wish they would give a course on it say a child over the age of 18 was hungry and stole food. And got sent to jail really needs compassion not jail it's how you make a criminal the system is broken for the youth education is a big part of better in our community compassion caring and understanding should be the Creed of the police department black lives matter but to me that's like saying all lives matter we all bleed red we all hurt the same we also pain and we all die eventually we should start living like we have one life compassion caring and understanding will go a long way

Now that you know that Floyd himself demanded to be put in that position, do you regret condemning the officers for not having the "urgency" of moving him out of the first position that he actually stayed still for? Does the fact that Floyd is now known to have been complaining that he could not breathe well before he was put into that position change your stance on this even slightly? Do you now realize that even seeing the video, you have no clue as to how much pressure was being applied by that knee? Do you feel duped by the DA who only released the body cams and the toxicology reports well after the riots got started and no one cared any longer if the cops were guilty?

    I don't condemn you for having vital information withheld for you. But when the mask comes off, when the documents come to light, when the body cams escape to be seen in the light of day, do you re-evaluate?

12. Nothing against police, but your thin blue line flag is as disrespectful as kneeling during the anthem IMO. I despise Kaepernick FTR.

16. Look. I am a democrat and I don't think all cops are bad. However, there are a lot that just care about their power against the people. I've met some really nice cops that aren't all about power. But you can tell that a lot of cops have fallen to the system of power. In this case, a cop used his power to his advantage to pin this person to the ground, which killed him. Cops shouldn't flaunt their power at all, and should only use it when it is absolutely necessary. You seem like a good cop that enjoys his job and isn't power hungry like other cops, so I have nothing against you.

    But Mike the cop helped my prospective change to viewing cops in a more positive light. But I still don't trust them.

    A friend of mine almost went to jail for a marijuana seed in his vehicle. Then again, I've had cops change my life for the positive.

    It's a mixed bag. People are people. Regardless of the pigment of there skin. Some will help you, and protect you from a firefight. Some will want to put you in prison.

Cops are earning hatred for themselves buy not accepting their mistakes that’s the problem their egos come in between and media has part in earning that hatred but what cops are doing to solve this problem their is the recent case of where family was detained by cops because the cops made mistake

25. It’s not and “isolated incident” it’s a pattern of “isolated incidents” which needs to be addressed. The less you minimize it, the more I take you seriously.

27. I think most ''Cops'' are good, the BLM movement was ''born'' from this situation regardless of that ''cops'' intentions or social views. That situation was a trigger to BLM and it had to come to life for reasons that are presently well known. I have a criminal record(honesty), I personally am a pretty skilled ''MMA'' pugilist, I have been in more fights than 99% of all cops (the number is pretty impressive) and never killed a single dude. That cop made a conscious choice to end Floyd with carelessness, nuf said.

I grew up in an all whit community and they ran off all 3 black families that tried to move in .I didn't no this at the time I was a kid and was obliviuose of such things at the time but later I use to hang out with the police through my friends wrecker service on late night calls and listening to them tell stories.Those familied were hurrased and in one case the wife was raped by an 18 year old kid and the town and police force covered it up.These weren't trouble causing families either they were upstanding in the church and a couple were teachers and 1 a youth minister .They were run off simply because they were black.

33. I have watched your videos for years and I don’t always agree but I always trust that you are giving an honest and thoughtful answer and not some knee jerk “us vs. them” or “good guys vs bad guys” response.
    It is your willingness to think and talk about the complexity of the problems that have developed between the public & police that keeps me watching.

    I grew up with cops hanging out in the garage drinking beer with my dad (he consulted on their undercover cars to stop illegal drag racing). I had no fear of them, as a teenage girl, they were just my Dad’s annoying friends trying to embarrass me and make sure I had zero fun as a teenager.

    I still live in the same town but the police now are wholly different than the police then. (The Daniel Shaver shooting debacle was my town and my local police force.) I have a 21 year old daughter and she and her husband have an ingrained fear of the police that I have never had (and I was a hoodlum) .

    I was recently thinking about the fact that I had so many opportunities to interact with cops as just people because they were everywhere in my life when I was growing up (my dad’s friends, my best friends mom).

    Fast forward twenty years and I don’t know anyone who knows anyone who is a cop anymore. My Dad doesn’t know any cops anymore. I feel like that may be part of the change in our police, they seem so distant and removed from the rest of us now.

35. One isolated incident? When a system has failed time and again to serve the communities that they are supposed to protect, history has shown that protests like these are bound to happen. It is disheartening to see what's happening. But it is a 1 to 1 correlation with the current failure our law inforcement. What we see out there is a way to put immense pressure on the system to work better for us all. Until it can be acknowledged it, we are only to take heed from warnings from our past. There is a need for checks and balances. I love America for all that it is. We have to realign our course for the better. The idea the we are the best without our best efforts, the idea that we deserve the best without being worth the effort Is a fault I see In our society.

38. Gotta love how they talk about how hard it is to hold other officers accountable but in the same breath try to convince us the system holds police accountable. Anyone else notice they can’t call it murder….it was just something “wrong.” Good grief the cognitive dissonance with these two is astonishing… but sadly not unexpected.

39. Still don’t think he matters. This happens a lot more than most people want to admit. Just it’s cherry picked, on which ones make the media frenzy. I’ve seen waay more vids with someone non black or Hispanic get murdered than this… just saying.

40. No words will ever bring George back! If most jobs require a college degree for a job that is not as complex as being an officer. There should be strict requirements to become an officer, such as requiring a 4 year college degree!
