Centerville, IA – What started out as an attempt to make an arrest for a probation violation on 38 year old Kaleb Morrow, turned into attempted murder charges after Morrow charged and attacked Officer Gary Buckallew saying on camera, “I’ll kill you.”
While the encounter seems calm, despite Morrow’s obvious oddities, it goes to show how quickly a situation turns. Thankfully, Sgt. Jeremy Cole was nearby and able to provide subject control and remove Morrow from Buckallew and a taser deployed and handcuffs applied.
There are some tactical lessons to be learned here that I share in brief, but what would you add or take away? According to court filings, Buckallew suffered injuries to his right elbow and left knee, as well as a scrape on his neck. He received medical attention and was released. Centerville Police Chief Tom Demry said none of the injuries are permanent.

That guy is *ucked shut the door call for back up
lol i feel bad for the guy tho
I watch you because being a cop is my DREAM job
i love how he's all aggressive then the cops like, "you're a little loud" and he's like "oh sorry"
It's the nice cops like this that get messed with by folks. Not all civilians are this resilient, and not all cops are cruel. Respect one another.
“I’m ex-military. I’ve faced death before.” Respect +INFINITY.
I went straight from child to man. Its a manchild
Also, I just realized his intro has a pig on the side of it…
His kids will pay. Lol His a railroad agent. There kind of a big deal. As Ron Burgundy would say.
That guy is obviously crazy and the officer 110% correct.
What is the male word for Karen again?
he's lucky sweatpants showed up.
arrestee was making him scream like a bitch.
but then he WAS air farce (no, that's how its spelled)
Did the officer tase himself point blank?!?!
Looks like someone forgot to take their meds that day
Also don't fire the stun gun into your hand.
It's obvious this man has mental health issues 😕
Damn. The guy is a veteran. He clearly has some serious mental issues.
Schizophrenia leaps to mind…
Whether it's small towns/counties or larger cities, people often underestimate the dangers facing law enforcement. So glad to see this end well for this officer!
@Mike The Cop…excellent post review…the arresting officer should have waited for backup as soon as LEO saw the subject was going to be difficult with via the subjects hesitation/refusal of willfully entering the back seat without further provocation, not to mention once the Officer knew the full extent of the probation violation, its always best to defuse any and all potential situations, via using the escalation of force, soft cool communication, soft hands, professional presence when dealing with any subjects such as this, when no backup is present…
This mean needs some help
Drugs are bad, mmmm Kay?
Cops where I live would have immediately tazed this guy.
Man hearing that cop say please no hurt my heart.
ye, gotta watch out for those railroad agents they might(…)
God bless all of the police officers who have to put up with this sort of crap.
havnt stopped giving my dad shit for getting his ass beat
Rear naked choke applied like a boss :p
His ego was getting the best of this Officer, and he's complacent. No search, and the Officer should of called for back up immediately the second the guys would allow the cuffs.
Good shit brother… no, GREAT SHIT BROTHER!!!
There are pigs on both sides, until people realize that, we will continue singling out people groups.
Thank the lord for good helpful citizens like the second man. This cop might have lost his life if it werent for him. God bless this man
So why doesn’t the officer just close the car door and then call for back up. person resisting arrest he’s in my car something instead of aggravating the situation when you know he’s not going to be compliant
who was saying plz dont was that the oficer?
Where are these fools ever going to learn!
You obey his commands.
And fight him in court!
I can't help but laugh at people stupidity.
Oh, Holy Crap sounds very intimidating you don't want to mess around with him.
He might need as bad as Corn Pop (who's a very bad dude) LOL!
… A PRIVATE, RAILROAD AGENT!"
Duh duh duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
what a patient officer this is what officers are like
Great job Mike! Some things seemed obvious, but I realize sometimes maybe you get too comfortable with a situation and that is where the mistakes come in. Just curious, wouldn't you cuff the suspect before putting them in the car or was it a detain, find out if there are warrants and then arrest??????
Man, am I glad that I could never be a cop! I have faced death many times but not like you cops do every day. Genuine heroes and don't get the credit you deserve. These days no amount of money is enough.
Does he have multiple personality disorder or something?
He went from polite citizen knowing he's in the wrong to aggravated "rail road agent" to violent hostile felon in just seconds.
