7. This cop was unprofessional and combative from the drop. I feel like these shots were unwarranted and it could have been avoided with a little more compassion. 34. The guy was suspected to be mentally unstable and armed with a giant knife. The officer told him multiple times to come out with his hands up. Instead, he emerges from the bushed with a large stick and you can't see his other hand. Officers protected themselves. I don't see the culpability. Just a bad situation. The family should be apologizing for sicking this lunatic on the public and the officers instead of trying to sue the city and destroy an officer's life.
