“Don’t Reach!”

Most people have heard the standard advice on how to handle a traffic stop. You know, things like turning your dome light on if it’s dark out, turning your vehicle off, keeping your hands visible on the steering wheel, not making fast movements, etc.

Most people similarly understand that the above are not magical ways to get out of a ticket. Rather, they are actions designed to send the clear message that you are not a threat.

Given the pervasiveness of that messaging and the consequences of even a mistake, it’s hard to understand people like the dude in this video. I mean, when the cops tell you to stop reaching you should probably, umm… stop reaching.

  1. I hate seeing people get arrested for just some personal amount of drugs with no crime being committed
The damn government started the drug problem and perpetuates it by shipping in and selling drugs to find their black projects..
    It's wrong

  2. That dude was super cool with them and just had a small amount of drugs in him and caught a felony charge for it. That felony is going to follow him forever. It just seems like a bit much. I feel a fine and some rehab for him would have helped alot more

  3. Wait…. that police report at 16:20 says he spontaneously stated he was trying to grab a baggie inside a drawer on the undercarriage of the dashboard. That's not what happened he said that After he was already cuffed and in the back if their police vehicle. These police officers illegally searched him and his car and falsified a police report to justify their search and seizure. Sure they didn't assault him but they are still crooked cops

  4. I understand wanting to do drugs man. First offense shouldn't show up on records in my opinion, really. It should just be either mandatory rehab or therapy. Ideally state funded. Just use the money from traffic tickets ffs

  5. He just moved here and doesn't know anybody so he's doing molly so when it kicks in he will have all the friends he wants

  6. At first he said "I have some papers in the car". For a sec I thought we had a MOOR. Supposed to be all caps, right?

  7. Dear criminals, if you were smart you'd commit only one crime at a time.

Either drive without a license OR possess drugs. If this guy only did one and not the other, he probably would've not even gone to jail (driving without a license may have been a ticket and a walk home, and odds are without committing any other crimes he would not have been caught with drugs).

  8. Besides the teaching in the beginning, THIS is how you behave with police. He was calm and cooperative.

  9. If the cop thats continuing to suck his nose does it one more time he will suck his entire face uo his nostril. Damn, coke much cop??? What it sounds like to me…..sniff sniff suckkkkk sniffle sniffle suckkkkk sniffle sniffle. Please just stop with the sounds!!!!!!
