So I work for Motorola solutions I install and maintenance two way radios for law enforcement. I won't say the name of any agency but there was a hostage situation (domestic) after they got the wife out alive the husband was in the house alone. I was working on some of their motorcycle patrol vehicles at the time. The cops in this city wouldn't breech or attempt to subdue the guy because they said if they have to shoot the guy, they would be sued. They said he's in there alone we will just wait him out. It is just awful that cops are outright scared to do their job. We need to support law enforcement and recognize that they have a very hard job to do and NOTHING is routine. Shit goes wrong and sometimes people get hurt. But if this guy hadn't taken a hostage in the first place they wouldn't have been there.
How does she know the police did not interrogate him later? Like a shoot first ask questions later kind of scenario.
