Police have released dashboard camera video of a confrontation between a Kansas City animal control officer and a man who was trying to keep the officer from taking his neglected dog. Ricky Williams, 45, is accused of attacking the animal control officer Wednesday at 57th Street and Park Avenue. The officer said Williams pushed and started to choke her. Passer-by David Lyman stepped in to help the animal control officer, but he said Williams attacked him, too. He said Williams also stole his truck.
Police officers came to the scene and caught video of Williams in the stolen truck. He eventually stopped and police took him into custody. Fourofficers said they were kicked and punched while trying to arrest Williams. He faces five criminal charges in the case and his bail was set at $100,000. Police said he has past convictions involving a stolen car and drug sales.The animal control officer took Thursday off. She told her supervisor that she has some soreness in her neck, but she will be fine.

That cop is freaking liar! At 3:59 he radioed the chase at 18 MPH. The dash cam clearly shows he is traveling 19 MPH.
