cops were trained in ALERTT. They didn't follow
their training. Active shooter response is clear
and unambiguous, you run towards gunfire and
immediately engage, no matter what. They didn't.
Making excuses for their inaction is absurd and
ignorant.
What policy would I criticize about Uvalde? How about the ones that allowed hundreds of officers on scene to not be compelled to enter the building and shoot that fukkin murderer in the face? All of it. You can’t lament that the police had to stop civilians from trying to go in and take the guy out when the damned lazy ass cops are more worried about squirting hand sanitizer on their hands than attacking the gunman. Because of them we have an idiot Irish grifter candidate for governor that wants to disarm law abiding Texans. Every cop there in ANY leadership capacity should lose his law enforcement certification permanently

Trauma can really change the brain and how you act over time if not dealt with.
Not even fancy lawyers can think of putting an officer in every school with secured entry…I know it's a crazy idea because how else would they ban AR15s if they actually did simple things that would actually work.
