So don't even go there is now verbal assault? I didn't punctuate this comment because I knew it would rattle these teachers that they couldn't correct me. The red pen nazis were out to play. The teachers who told me I wouldn't amount to anything, when I went back to school 5 years later asked me what I was doing. I told this bunch of bullies that I was a registered nurse, even then they tried to dismiss me until I asked them how many lives had they saved today (I hadn't saved any either as it was my weekend off) and how many children had they belittled? With that I flounced out. The middle classes in England are so supercilious I don't know why they bother teaching working class kids or perhaps I do, when the rest of their "class" looks down on them, they have a cat to kick. I home schooled my youngest child.
Imagine if we learned to work these things out like adults instead of calling for the baby sitters. If we want to act like children, they'll be happy to treat us like children.
