1. A plea for consistency and common sense reactions we have even with those we ideologically disagree with sometimes or all the time! Some have pointed out the hypocrisy of how the company handled this vs. other situations in the past but that's my point: we don't do ourselves any favors responding to hypocrisy with hypocrisy born out of cognitive dissonance. It's self-defeating, foolish and quite frankly, makes us look ridiculously childish and ignorant.

5. I'd be scared too. What if someone dropped something on the floor and the loud noise made the cops fear for their life? Since the police seem to be in a constant state of pants wetting terror it could turn into a situation where they kill everyone in the coffee shop before they realize their mistake. Oh, I forgot. Cops never makes mistakes, they simply follow their training. In that respect they're no different from dogs and only slightly more intelligent than the dumbest breeds of canine, not unlike an inbred Shar Pei with a gun.

7. I respect the fact that you're willing to walk the talk. I'm far more liberal than you, and it's been a journey for me to go from being in the "FTP" crowd to see that there is more to policing than the news, media, or angry activists/community members show us.

   I am not LE, but I definitely spend enough time in Starbucks to be able to say that as a whole, cops and other emergency/first responders are not treated as persona non gratis.

   It's kind of like that manager that called the cops on those black men in Philadelphia. My personal experience with Starbucks (and I admit that I"m a white guy, so that's my point of view), is that the Starbucks employees I know and I've befriended are against racism, and would not discriminate based on race, but that one manager created a community backlash, so training had to be done.

   It used to be that cops intimidated me- for various reasons I won't go into, and I can see why someone would say they feel threatened, especially if they were in their little bubble where police are all servants of a white supremacist prison industrial complex, but now that I've done more work where I've had to call the police and non-emergency on trespassers, people who were disruptive and harassing other patrons, I see why many cops are given respect and deference. Having them in your coffee shop is a good thing, and it keeps potential nonsense down.

9. In Denver, there is a road where on one side of the road you have Starbucks while on the other side of the road you have Starbuds.

10. I just wish that whenever cops go to Starbucks, the radio will start to play the song "BAD BOYS."

13. It does not surprise me that you would take this position. I have only recently subscribed, but I did so because you remain objective and logical. Your attitude and approach does a service to the greater community. There are some people who are scared of cops. This fear can lead to bad things happening to good people on both sides of the badge as people will panic or be afraid to report anything. Your approach is helpful because it leads anyone who cares to pay attention on a cognitive path designed to structure a framework of understanding which will facilitate communication and cooperation. Your focus on your core principals is a tool you use that you openly share on this platform which does in fact help humanize the badge. Right now, in our nation, we need our civilians and LEO's to be able to connect. Excellent work.

It's getting very frustrating to see people blaming an entire corporation for the actions committed by individuals in their employ who acted solely on personal bias that has nothing to do with that corporation's policies or procedures. Yes, by all means, hold that individual responsible for what they did but don't lay blame on the company they happen to work for just because it took place while they were on the clock.

25. I Don't agree I would have sued them. Did Starbucks close all 3 thousand stores for sensitivity training as they did for the non-paying black guys a few months ago? I will never drink their coffee again. I would rather drink pee before I drink their coffee.
