In this episode of Choir Practice, we introduce you to Jeremy Wade. Jeremy was an officer for the Seattle Police Department before he made the decision to move to Tennessee with his family in order to create Mission First Alliance.
Mission First Alliance’s goal is uniting & equipping ALL who have a heart to reach our Nation’s First Responders for Christ. There are many different ministries working to bring the hope of Christ to our nation’s first responders and their families. Many churches have the desire to reach them but struggle to know how. Unfortunately, most of these first responders and their families feel isolated, unaware of existing ministries, and unsupported by their local churches.
We began our visit with Jeremy as he hosted one of the Mission First Alliance’s online fellowship meetings right here in the Law Enforcement Today studios the night before our Choir Practice filming. It was an honor for Jeremy to invite Kyle to join the first responders across the country and provide a few words of hope and wisdom.
Mission First Alliance brings collaboration, awareness, and support to existing gospel focused ministries, and raises up ambassadors in local churches to effectively engage our nation’s first responders and their families. Our desire is to see collaboration to have a greater impact for the Kingdom of God. We hope to see first responders daily equipped to live in Christ and on mission among their families, coworkers, and communities.
