Las Vegas, Nevada — On October 21, 2019, at approximately 12:11 p.m., the City of Henderson Police Department responded to 10701 S. Eastern Avenue in reference to a 9-1-1 disconnect. Arriving officers located a 7-year-old male juvenile with apparent stab wounds and an agitated adult female. A struggle ensued resulting in the use of deadly force. The juvenile was transported to UMC Trauma Center where he underwent emergency surgery and is expected to recover. The adult female was transported to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition, where it was later learned she succumbed to her injuries. The adult female was later confirmed to be the mother of the juvenile. No officers were injured during this incident.

I've seen a couple videos of people grabbing cops guns and it reminds me of a patient I had at the state hospital. He was just in his 20s but the file said he had a 3 month psychotic break after taking some acid. He found himself not competent to stand trial after stealing one officers gun and holding two at gun point and then stealing their police car. The kid was super lucky he didn't die. Unfortunately there were not any body cams 15 years ago.
There is no punishment too severe for those who harm children.
When the bodycam looks like it was filmed with an iPod Nano in vertical mode.. Yeah you know the audio is gonna get rough.
I don't know why some departments don't put the money into proper surveillance equipment.
Police should not respond. They just endanger themselves for people who will sue them or have them arrested.

Another example of the biased court system leaving a child in the hands of an abusive mother even with evidence of abuse. The father had tried to gain sole custody previously. This kid's trauma could have been prevented.
