Atlanta, Georgia — Bodycam video shows the moment Atlanta police officers rescued a dog that was tethered just feet from a raging fire. While working at the scene of a vehicle fire in northwest Atlanta, Zone 1 units were made aware of a dog tethered to a tree near the vehicle, which was fully engulfed. The officers quickly leapt into action, placing themselves in harm’s way to free the dog. After finally getting him free, the dog was removed from danger and given the love he deserves.

  1. Dog lives are a billion times more important than human lives. Yeah human lives matter but not nearly as much as a dog’s life. Y’all humans do nothing but consume pop culture and fast food 😂 🤣

  2. fvcking outstanding job men! outstanding job!
buy these officers a case of whatever they're drinking.
and get that dog a fvcking steak.

  3. If that dog decided to bite the officer the dog would have been shot lmao. Police is probably the worst people to ask to save your dog.

  4. DeFuNd ThE PoLiCE.
Well done! Wish we had more of your videos / stuff on the mainstream media.

  5. Am I the only one that thought this was going to be a video of a bad ass Poilce dog doing his duty while being tied up and the poilce station was on fire?

  6. Wtf is the point of having a pet if you’re gonna leave it outside chained up? 🤦🏽‍♀️

  7. It so sad seeing the pupper trying to get away from the fire. He was as far as he could be. I’m so happy they were able to rescue this doggo!
