Tucson, Arizona — On August 20th, 2022 the Pima Regional critical incident team was activated for a Tucson Police Department officer-involved shooting, and the 3700 Block of South 16th Avenue, near Ajo way and i-19. Just before 3:30 am, the Tucson Public Safety Communications Department received a 9-1-1 call about a fight at a hookah lounge with one person displaying a firearm. Tucson police officers from Operations Division South responded to the parking lot of the business. Tucson police’s initial response to the lounge was for a report of a fight involving a gun. When officers arrived, the involved participants had left the area. While speaking with the staff officers were told of a second fight inside the lounge.

As the officers approached the lounge, multiple patrons were seen running away from the lounge into the parking lot. The officers then encountered a man holding a handgun. TPD officers began giving commands for the man to drop the weapon. The man did not comply and two of the officers fired their Duty weapon, striking the man. It took approximately three minutes for the officers to begin rendering aid to the suspect, since they needed additional resources to make the scene safe. Once the scene was safe, officers began administering life-saving measures on the man. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The man has been identified as 25-year-old Adum Mahamat.

  1. Well, c'mon now, Adum (seems his mom forgot to write the final letter of his name, the 'b') DID finally put the gun down.

  2. Did he think they were shooting him with BB guns? Anyway, that looks like a lovely establishment, I'm sure this is the first and last time that there will be any trouble there.

  3. Well I guess he won't be getting into fights and pulling a gun on someone again 🤷‍♂️ problem eternally solved.

  4. He wasn’t letting that gun go for his life, legitimately he died with that in his hand even after 3 or 4 shots

  5. Uncalled for. Only gave him 1 second to comply and starting deliberately shooting to kill. That last shot while he layed on the ground face down not moving was totally trash.

  6. This crap happens all the time here. I say here for obvious reasons. If you move to AZ. Don't pick Tucson. The local media will describe it as some Utopian wonderland. Far from it. Tons of crime here, especially robberies, shootings, home invasions, thefts and murders. Can't wait to bounce. Worst city I've ever lived in. This incident has been all over the news for the past several weeks. It actually happened a month ago (8/20).

  7. Honestly, looks like that guy was high af on something, he took like 4 shots before he even reacted, and was walking/moving strangely.
No excuse for him, just saying looks like he was on something.

  8. They gave him no time to put it down. He didn't lift it. He was obviously intoxicated so he needed time to put it down.
Of course these loser, privileged, trigger-happy cowards on Youtube love these senseless murders.
    Pathetic.

  9. Those cops had no clue what the situation was. They could have a killed a person defending themselves which we've seen before on this channel.

  10. I am sure he was more then willing to take a life out of ignorance and not self defense but didn't think it would be his own good shooting 🤔
