    I can't understand why they didn't just tase him when they drew level. Obviously not as thrilling as a turkey shoot.

    Fortunately, the police in the UK have a different approach to dealing with reckless driving charges.

23. That resembled more of a mob hit than a law enforcement operation. This is the kind of police state bullshit that has to end. No meaningful attempt was made to protect life. Shame on the police who think this is how it's supposed to be done. You disgust me. The excessive use of force is readily apparent to all but the brainwashed.

24. So let me get this straight:
    1) the dude was shot for reckless driving, failure to stop for blue lights and a hearsay evidence that "he is not going to jail"?
    2) the first shot was taken without giving the dude a second to comply? The order "let me see your hands" was issued at 2:00. First shot was fired at 2:01. How long does it take for an average unprepped and untrained man to even comprehend shouted orders, let alone follow them?
    3) For the first time the order to show his hands was given at 1:58 when rear door was barely open and a PO shouted INSIDE THE VAN "let me see you fucking hands" when the guy looked away. Do you always think what whatever is being shouted within a random passing-by car is directed at you and do you always follow those directions?

    So putting yourself at the guy's place – you're walking a quiet alleyway, an unmarked van passes by, then a bunch of random guys starts shouting something (mainly inside that van) – you're not even sure whether it is towards you they are shouting or at each other inside that van, and then they jump out raging on you, then start blasting at you. Looks like a planned execution and not really a law enforcement to me.
    Ok I admit it, reaching for the gun while running was a bad decision on his part, but first shots were fired at him before that.

25. Abuse of force, the perpretator was running away,with his back to the police,there was no need to use fatal force. You could have shoot to the legs. No need to kill the man. US turning to a police state👎👎👎

31. I was there so I know everything that happened. I have all the reports and information. I know the number of shots fired and how many that hit him. This is a case of pumped up officers on a rush to shot someone. He never turned at them and he never pointed a gun at anyone. He was a scared 5' 6" 117 lbs 26 year old. They shot at him nine times after he was down an the ground and the gun was over 5 feet away from him. This was excessive force. Please refrain form the smart comment from you arm chair want to be police officers miles and miles away. I live what happened everyday and will till the day i die. Police Brutality Is Alive and Well for all people not any special groups.

    THIS COULD HAVE GONE MUCH DIFFERENTLY .
    AND THE SUSPECT WOULD STILL BE ALIVE .
