LAKE FOREST, Ca. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department released a Critical Incident Video depicting the deputy-involved shooting that occurred in Foothill Ranch, a community located in the city of Lake Forest, Calif., on January 19, 2022.
At about 9:40 p.m., deputies responded to the report of “suspicious circumstance at the Walmart on Towne Centre Drive in Foothill Ranch. According to the OCSD, deputies confronted the people suspected of returning items with fraudulent receipts which is when they encountered 30-year-old Ernest Aguilar. The interaction began cordially however, when deputies began to detain Aguilar they spotted a knife and attempted to handcuff the suspect.
Aguilar resisted, forcing three deputies and a civilian to wrestle him down. During the struggle, Aguilar brandished a handgun. A civilian warned authorities that Aguilar was armed after which deputies fired and struck the 30-year-old in the head.
He was transported to the hospital and survived. Aguilar has since been moved to jail and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer and possession of a gun missing a serial number. Aguilar also had outstanding warrants at the time of the shooting.

I consider myself a pretty Liberal guy, and really couldn't care less if it was the employee, bystander, cop, or God himself who kept saying "nice!" after the shot.
Law enforcement needs special training for Spanish people. He acted as if he was completely innocent and needed help .. and ended up having a gun lol.

These deputies are untrained losers, I used to apprehend jerks like this every day, you have to wait until they leave the store for safety, and you 'cannot' bargain with them, just flatten the biggest one, the others will cooperate, no wonder walmart gets ripped off so much !!!
for me, it is legit. it's already wasting too much time to be with 4 officers just to handcuff ONE INDIVIDUAL. I'm tired of these people who come to live in the West, but who refuse to comply with our laws, our rules. one parasite less.
