West Valley City, Utah —The West Valley City Police Department released 5 body camera and details of an officer involved shooting that occurred at approximately 7:00 pm August 23, 2019 in the DUI processing area inside the City Hall building, not the police department building. West Valley police released 4 body cam videos (but Video Leak has 5 to present) to of the moments right before a handcuffed DUI suspect was shot and killed by an officer inside West Valley City Hall.
During the processing of the DUI suspect, an altercation occurred. One officer fired his weapon striking the suspect. The suspect, Michael Chad Breinholt, 31 years old, is deceased.

is investigating. SLCPD and the DA’s office both have investigate the incident. The officer involved in the OICI is a veteran police officer. The officer will be on administrative leave as a matter of standard protocol.

There was no way for him to even get to the gun that was in his shoe all they had to do was take his shoes off and remove the weapon if there was one..
