  1. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha that's what you get for being a touh guy dick head. choked out by a fifteen year old. All that training, & you get put to sleep by a kid what a pussy .

  2. Not so easy to accomplish while you're getting choked out. Iv been there. Needs lots of practice

  3. When training in martial arts you are training natural reflexes. Trying to change the dumb reactive ones into constructive meaningful to what you mean to do ones. If possible daily practice is important as well mentally to help you perform even in high stress or just another day. Wish you and yours the best. Take care.

  4. lol…. bullshit. This would ONLY apply if the attacker was A LOT weaker and smaller than you. Go somewhere else to train. Is this "instructor" a blue belt…. his knowledge is on that level.

  5. That shit would not work for the choke in the video. That choke was sunk and he had full guard. The escape shown here only works from half guard or side control.

  6. The officers attacked someone for filming them. I guess its illegal in Australia, why the headline is students guillotined cop and not cop attacked students for filming. What sort of world has this become?

  7. The cop shouldn't of done anything to that kid in the first place a good cop is a dead cop ballistic vest won't protect against a fn 5.56 aka the sweater shredder that's why I carry that gun can pierce level iii body armor plates of its gonna be me or them it's gonna be me

  8. Wow I didn't know you trained!! Awesome! I been training 11 years! Just got back from a double class. A little BJJ goes a long way

  9. This video is funny because he showing you the sport way and the hard technical way , The street is not a sport to survive you have to be dirty and poke his eyes and scratch and grab his balls and smash them that chocke will kill you and there no ref or judge right there .

  10. The suggested solution seems unnecessarily complicated. At 1:35 the victim's right hand is free with a clear path to punch/grab the aggressor's testicles. Apply sufficient force to the testicles and the aggressor will let go and probably collapse to the ground.

This solution is probably not allowed under BJJ fight rules, but real life fighting is different.

  11. 15 or not, if help was not close by, perhaps the officer would’ve had to decide to pull his gun, if possible, and shoot the kid. The little prick was gambling with his life.

  12. Every time I hear about a cop getting beaten up, I now wonder what he did to deserve it.

I no longer have the delusion that all cops are noble heroes.

Some are vicious thugs with badges

  13. In most cases if anybody did that to an officer they'll end up getting shot because you guys feared for your life. What about We the People fearing for our lives? If Justice was just the playing field would be even in all fairness.

  14. The problem with BJJ is that it teaches you to fight from a vulnerable position against a single person. Whether it be off your back or from the guard/mount. Train not to get taken down and how to get back up if you do first. Definitely consider mma vs BJJ alone.

  15. Have 11 years of BJJ best martial arts hands down for dealing with a majority of self protection situations. Now I’m old and fat not so much lol

  16. I'm a civilian but I've trained BJJ off and on for just over a year. I'm always happy whenever anyone in law enforcement starts training. I've rolled against 4 street officers and one man who works with people on bail (can't remember his title, but it's a county job). All but one of the officers left me with confidence in local law enforcement as they train, even if I was able to win in a grapple. I'd started training before any of them so my experience gives me an edge but I know most people who a cop has to get hands on with are not training 3x a week or more in any martial art. And in all honesty if someone with that experience did fight a cop, they're getting tazed because that cop will quickly realize its gonna be a bad time.

  17. I'm working on a biology degree to become a conservation officer. I added jiu jitsu to my schedule this semester at your recommendation. 4 weeks in and I already feel more capable of going hands on safely. Thanks!

  18. Why would a police officer ever tell someone to stop video taping? Maybe that they need to move back, but should never be to stop entirely.

Edit: unless their is a body. Maybe then, but only until it is covered. Even then it’s very sketchy.

  19. Sounds to me like the cop in the clip deserved to get guillotined, people have a right to film.
