http://fireandpolicevideos.com Fire And Police Videos rode along with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department and shot this video of the 2013 New Mexico Sheriff and Police Athletic League’s “Cops Helping Kids Day”.

PAL staff, law enforcement, volunteers and local area businesses came out and came together on Saturday, December 21, 2013 and made the day unforgettable for some very special kids.

The day starts out with a police lights and siren procession to breakfast and shopping at Target where Santa arrives in the Bernalillo county Sheriff’s helicopter.

The cops and kids then have another lights and siren procession to Furr’s Fresh Buffet on Wyoming Blvd in Albuquerque, NM where they are able to enjoy a delicious, healthy and nutritional meal. http://www.furrs.net

The cops and kids then leave Furr’s to Silva Bowling Lanes in their final lights and siren procession where they enjoy bowling together.

PAL is a recreation-oriented juvenile crime prevention program that relies heavily upon athletics and recreational activities to create and cement the bond between the police officers and the kid oÂn the street. PAL is based oÂn the strong belief that children, if they are reached early enough, can develop a strong, positive attitude towards police officers in their journey through life towards the goal of adulthood and good citizenship.
