Behind The Scenes: Lowe’s Loss Prevention – Everything Law and Order Blog

In this video we take a brief look behind the curtain of retail loss prevention, tagging along with a Florida police officer as he enters one store’s surprisingly tiny and not-that-high-tech loss prevention closet to receive information about a serial shoplifter.

The nondescript door opens around 2:35.

Enjoy!

  1. I was a manager for many years for several large retail chains, and its not the customers who commit the most theft, it's your own employees.

  2. Some of these idiots LPs one day started following me from a distance noticed them but I kept taking my time on that big tool purchased I was about to make as I was ready to pay I looked around and told them don't just follow me come help me take these tools to my truck make them look so stupid and 😅😄😃

  3. Funny story I might of store from this lowest back in 2016-2017. However I no longer steal and it was due to addiction

  4. What they don't tell you, is that there is more internal theft, than external; also, I might add, I am a former Lowes employee, the company is disgusting. Don't shop there.

  5. I know someone who did loss prevention for a while. He actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Worked with the local PD frequently and made pretty good $$$ from the company that hired him (department store chain).

  6. AGAIN ! put the name of the freakin store at least in the description. This is very basic information. YouTube descriptions have become useless i swear…just disable them instead of pasting useless info there. Why make people read that?

  7. @RealWorldPolice This is a violation of Lowe’s Confidentiality Policy and Security Breach. Lowe’s Associates are prohibited to show the public where the security room is and it is a safety violation to Lowe’s Security Protocols. Please take down this video or it will be reported to Lowe’s Security Team. This teaches how criminals steal merchandises easily. Thank you.

  8. I hated working in LP. I felt like a total tool chasing and spying on someone for taking a wine cooler.
