Baltimore Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in South Baltimore. On Wednesday night, two officers noticed a man acting suspiciously and showing characteristics of a person armed with a gun. The officers approached Allen Hosea Johnson Jr. and attempted to get the gun, but the Johnson fought back. During a struggle between the officers and Johnson, one round was fired from the gun and shot an officer in the palm of his hand. According to Commissioner Kevin Davis, the second officer used his stun gun, was able to handcuff Johnson, and retrieve the gun. The officer, a three year veteran of the police force, was taken to Shock Trauma for a non-life-threatening injury. Davis says the officer is in good spirits and will be fine. Johnson is in custody and was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Johnson has been charged with Attempted First and Second Degree Murder, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Felony Assault Second Degree of a Law Enforcement Officer, as well as other firearm and drug-related charges.

  1. "I don't have nothing! I don't have nothing!" That my friends is a double-negative. It means he has something. This confession should be used in court as evidence. Although I'm sure his attorney will go for the "grammar defense."

  2. Ay not tryna make shit up and say this truth but imagine the guy didn't have a gun and cop got on top of him and tryna slide a random gun under the fence while the guy all confused and scared i mean shhus haven't seen the gun yet 😏

  3. if you have nothing then why you reach? also you're resisting, and the fact they found the gun after makes you in more trouble.

  4. These are the very people who give the cops a hard time, then cry police brutality and say I didn't do nothin, they is racist. Thanks to video cams, things. An show proof. God bless you officers.

  5. But let’s be honest, the second cop that came in like Randy Orton and smashed this guy in the face deserves and award.

  6. One suspect can bring 25 cops to the scene to arrest him… four armed suspects can bring in 37 cops to the scene to arrest them… 10 armed suspects can bring in probably the whole PD depending on the town or city. If it’s the SFPD you know it finna bring about half of their Gang units to them

  7. No wonder they want to stop the stop and frisk laws – they'd get all their illegal guns taken away!

  8. I'm glad I'm not a police, seriously, I'd be braking jaws left and right…

Me: "Get on the ground now!"
    Suspect: "NO!" resists
    Me: breaks suspect jaw
Suspect: goes into the dream world

    Job done…

  9. I don't think these cops were justified in their approaching of the suspect. The police report stated that the suspect was a suspicious person who had the characteristics of someone with a gun. Neither looking suspicious or having a gun on you is a crime. You're innocent until proven guilty in this country not guilty until you prove yourself innocent which is exactly what this looks like it was. They were going to approach this man and basically accused him of being a criminal with malicious intent because they though he had a gun and he looks suspicious. That's wrong. This looks shady to me it looks a little bit like discrimination.

  10. Y'know…seeing that nice ford cruiser reminded me…Today, Ford joined the list of companies boycotting Facebook, due to them not censoring an American's speech. I think that the police and feds need to start negotiating with another company.

  11. I cannot wait for the videos of social workers and community service members trying to do this stuff. Let the good times roll!
