@CopsConsTV obtained body camera footage of an incident that happened in June of 2021. Albuquerque Police officers and a private security company responded to a late night bank robbery alarm. Whem Officers arrived they found a massive hole in the corner of the credit union where an ATM once was. Thieves used a large tele-handler forklift to rip the ATM out of the wall of the credit union. The bank sustained massive damage to the building as seen in the video.
The ATM was carried a few blocks away by the forklift and dumped on a side street with the forklift left running. Officers arrived to find cash all over the street and a broken ATM parts.
News reports said that over $100,000 of damage was done to the credit union. Police did recover over $20,000 cash from the scene.
