  1. This is why we need to spend more money on mental health crisis workers — it's NOT fair to the cops who don't have the training to know the person needs help but without the skills their only option was to kill them. Cop PTSD is a real problem.

  2. I couldn’t imagine what both parties were going through. The suspect sounded void of emotions or reason. I’ve been there, not in the same situation obviously, but have had similar bouts of depression and such. It is so difficult for those officers, they don’t know how to help but they did their absolute best.

  3. The officer was correct. things CAN always get better. I've been where that young man was. I survived. Things got better. it's been 30 years now. All you have to do is take things one day at a time.

  4. No one believes in me either, but you don't see me holding a gun to my head & crying like a bitch in public.
I drink beer and smoke weed and bury my problems watching YouTube like a normal person.

  5. This police officer tried everything to save him. That is a very well trained police officer, my very personal respect for this man. This sick boy no longer wanted to live and I am sorry. The officers had no other choice.
