On the topic of the nurse arrest: What's your opinion on the priority among emergency services?
There's tons of videos online of police officers arresting Paramedics/EMTs in the middle of the care of a patient (disrupting care and endangering lives for the sake of traffic violations). Theoretically there's some limit to the leniency of traffic laws for emergency vehicles when lights and sirens are on, but if the police are allowed to speed in order to deliver a fine, shouldn't other emergency services have similar immunity (outside of extreme circumstances).
It seems the populace would be best served if paramedics/EMTs had priority over law enforcement and that police should have to make sure not to interfere with other emergency services, rather than the other way around.
Is that how things are already supposed to be? Or would you support prioritizing the lives of patients over the state's urgency to issue citations?

I find them both education and entertaining(to some degree) Even though I am not an american or a resident of the united states and most of this doesn't apply to me personally it is still interesting to learn.
