11. Agree with the posters here – $436 for a victimless "crime" – assuming the cops aren't lying! Commiefornia for ya. Called Redondo copshop and spoke with Sgt. Bruce who was a rude, obnoxious jerk who was just waiting to talk instead of actually listening. Redondo Beach needs more visits from cop watchers, obviously.

17. Good luck, but I think you are wasting your time filing that complaint. He didn't even look interested. Rather then filing complaints, you should get a lawyer and file a lawsuit. At least then you will get some money out of it.

25. The fine is all about revenue for the counties, cities, states and federal dudes. The money collected by the courts has NOTHING to do with public safety or future education of the public. It's all about the California legislators saying "Fuck You" to those that can afford and those that cannot afford to pay the "fine".
    The capitalistic society we elected is all about how much justice one can afford, it has NOTHING to do with "Justice for All". That went out the window during the Regan Administration.

35. Getting divorced in PA and the legal costs for me alone are over $100,000.00

I think the judge will toss it when he sees just before this they were violating your 1st amendment rights and violating police policy regarding photographers – he then can bring in reasonable doubt that they are not telling the truth, single you out bc they disapprove of what you are doing, retaliating against you and will toss it.
