Torrance Police – Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle – Gun Thrown

Torrance Police pursued a possible stolen vehicle westbound on PCH at about 9:30pm. Officers lost sight of the vehicle. When they finally found the vehicle there were no occupants. A male suspect was arrested a few minutes later about 3 blocks from the abandoned car. Witnesses later called police and said they saw a male subject running on PCH and discard a handgun at El Burrito Jr. Officers arrived and recovered the handgun.

  1. That looked like a side-by-side shotgun with REALLY short barrels. Could have been a flare gun but I've never seen a double barrel one and they're usually bright orange.

  2. Fucking car theives are the worst. Some poor shmuck who owns a 20 year old Honda gets his car stolen who just wants to get to work in the morning and make an honest living.
