With property values soaring and businesses growing, the extremely cool artsy, retro, hippie style Venice culture will be pushed out or become very watered down and commercialized to attract more tourist to visit and wealthy to move in and take over. Unfortunately, there will be no place for the openly homeless in Venice in the near future.
