  1. Did you guys see that swat killed an unarmed man when called for the bomb threat and didnt make a deal out of it that part of the story was a run on sentence just yesterday and im sure not everyone paid attention swat killed a person they got away with murder on national news. Whats right and whats wrong

  2. I wonder what "councilwoman Tasha Cerda for Mayor" would have to say about this video, since her political sign is in the background of 8:07 it would seem like a GREAT question to ask if these people should have to fill out the field cards and tell them where they work and all this other information, when someone clearly lead the cops to them falsely since no guns were recovered… I wonder if that mayor thinks the police are treating these innocent victims like victims, or more like criminals?

  3. They were guilty of 'being alive while black.' While this is not an arrestable offense, it does require that they fuck with you and totally ruin your day or night, whatever the case may be.

  4. I had a similar situation twice! I was surrounded with police that had guns in my face both times! They thought i was a murderer both times because i had a freshly shaved head. They thought i was diguising myself! Well i'm not a murderer, but i do murder the comment sections at times!😄

  5. At some point, the police had high quality information to conclude that there were no specific facts of a crime. Yet, from that point, at least for some period of time, maybe 20 minutes or so, the occupants of the car remained in handcuffs and were detained. Terry vs Ohio says that a detainment requires specific facts of a crime.

So, what is their legal authority to continue the detainment during that 20 minutes or so?

I understand and am frankly sympathetic to the challenges police face from false reports.

On the other hand, for about 15 minutes, 4 innocent folks were one hiccup away from being shot and they were clearly detained. This video clearly shows that the focus of these dozens of officers is to protect the physical safety of the officers while exposing the occupants of the car to severe hazard. It is clear from this video that these officers have trained for this.

But where is the decision gate that they follow once they realize that all was based on a false report? That process would include promptly uncuffing these folks, turning off their flashing lights, getting out of the middle of the street, sending 80% of these officers off to their normal patrols, etc. Instead, this video clearly shows ALL these officers taking their time in releasing the occupants of the car. Why? It can't be justified by any security concerns or any needs for a criminal investigation.

  6. And guess what happens to the person who filed the false report (a misdemeanor or felony if officer gets hurt while responding)? Not a damn thing…

  8. The police did their job.  No one was hurt.   If there is problem here it is with the person who filed the false report.   The cops did their job correctly.
