4. That was a ridiculous statement by the female officer. She stopped speaking with the other person to say it while you were waiting patiently. She claimed it was a perimeter so she couldn't let you through. She directed her attention to the other person, then interrupted herself to say you could go on down there if you were going to be difficult because she doesn't have the manpower right now. 1. A perimeter is a perimeter. It's not a function of your agreeableness. 2. You weren't being difficult.
   Seems to me she knew she was wrong to not let you join other press and decided to let you through, but didn't want to admit she was wrong to hold you back in the first place, so she made it your fault. I'm glad I don't have to live with her. That stuff drives me nutz. Other than that, the cops seemed to do a very good job.
