November 27th, 2018 : A driver traveling northbound on Crenshaw Blvd made a left hand turn into the path of a southbound motorcyclist causing serious injuries to the motorcyclist.

My uncle Jim Stowe was killed while riding his motorcycle by an elderly woman. Our family put up a memorial cross where the accident happend. The old lady was so upset that she had to look at that cross everyday that she had her sone remove it. We fought about 10 rounds with these people. Finall our family decided to give up. That old bitch wasnt charged with anything. Nothing.
I think people over a certain age need to be tested every few years, and depending on the infraction, lose their license.. or maybe everyone should be retested..

I watch my grandma cut a car off and get T-Boned and he actually tried to sue the girl, but every lawyer said he was at fault, and he still thinks she cut him off and she didn't even have a stop sign.
They treat all elders like this and if a young person died, motorcycle or not. They don't care. If he or she was alive. He or she would got in trouble instead the elder person

The same thing happened on the main street by my house. I don't know if it was an old person or not, but my neighborhood is mostly old people, Mexicans, drunks and addicts and they all drive like shit! They blocked the whole road and it was a crime scene and everything. I understand that motorcycles are hard to see and some of them like to hang out in your blind spot but HOW can you not see what is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU??? I almost got hit as a pedestrian by an old guy making a left turn, and another time an old lady passed me on my bicycle and almost did that "right hook" while I was in the damn bike lane! One time I was in the car with my grandma and she almost hit a highway divider. I just don't get it. We need a different mentality towards old people in this country. They need to be taken care of, by family, instead of letting them run amok and endangering themselves and others. We have old people who are stubborn when it comes to their independence. The point is, nobody should have that much independence. Families should take responsibility for their elders.
I was crossing the street, at the intersection, when some old guy decided he was going to make a left turn. He was looking RIGHT AT ME, but didn't want to stop. Thankfully he didn't run right over me but his bumper hit my knee and I slapped the hood of his SUV with my hand. Was he fucking TRYING to kill me? What is wrong with these people?!

Well if your drunk or under the influence of other substance would be criminal other wise accidents do happen crotch rockets kill I would suspect maybe the motorcyclist may have been speeding.

A 80 yr old lady killed my friend the same way this accident happened.. he had just had just his first kid and got engaged a week before he was killed

This is exactly why old people don’t need to be driving. They need to retake the test or something. Fucking annoying.
In my opinion changing the law to make harsher or more strict punishments in incidents like this is crazy because what if she just didn't see the motorcycle or maybe the motorcyclist was speeding but anyways you just never know.
