January 23rd, 2018 : At about 12:30 pm a motorist slammed through the fence surrounding Alta Vista elementary school in Redondo Beach. The man drove around the soccer field and up a small hill where he attempted to ram the gates again to exit. Police and fire dept arrived on scene. No injuries were reported and the driver was not arrested at the scene.

If that was the driver being escorted under the tape, he looked like Bob Hope, so it's no wonder he'd be asleep at the wheel! Otherwise, considering the escape attempt, I'm amazed he wasn't arrested for destruction of property (or whatever) even if he wasn't drunk or drugged. I'm assuming he had a female passenger in the car since he was carrying a purse. Any info on what happened to her? Or was that his murse? LOL
