Keeping everyone safe and healthy translates to keeping everyone controlled and silent. How do these cops live with themselves.
Having reasonable common sense rules is fine but this goes way too far. Keeping people from the theaters and other places of crowded entertainment perhaps. But Outdoor activities with social distancing is clearly pretty safe and stopping it like this is a huge overreach of power that threatens our freedoms. I am afraid that this precedent will allow the government to too easily take away our freedoms at their whims by scare tactics of anything they deem an emergency. I fear the government’s hunger for power and social control by undermining of constitutional rights and freedoms far more than the coronavirus.
