qq… do you guys check the resistance of your spark plugs?
Kris question! Do you have to remove the ground battery cable first?
Coloured wires are oh so beautiful… 🤩
I am a 20 year old college student who know little about cars. Thank you Chris I was able to save a lot of money changing my spark plugs myself rather than having the dealer do it and charge me a fortune!
Can you make a video of an example of a rusted spark plug????
What if I’m replacing the distributor cap as well? What’s a tip to not get the wires mixed up? I understand why you’re replacing one wire and one plug at a time, but I have to take off all of the wires at the same time to take off the distributor cap
Chris's video is good as always. Great tips and tricks. Thank you
My 1984 LTD Crown Victoria had 216000 km and it still had the original plugs from the factory😅 once I replaced them and the ignition coil the engine ran like it was brand new🤣😭
You don't need to replace a sparkly
Well done bro😮

I've never seen anyone making a video about spark plugs for 20 minutes. 😂 GOOD JOB!
Chris, on my 4 cylinder mazda3 2016, it has coil packs + spark plug, it doesn't have wires like yours, would I sill use compressed air to remove debris before removing the sparkplugs? The coilpacks are on the top on the engine btw. Thanks!
When should an ignition coil be replaced???
This is top notch material protect this man at all costs
U are real Hero . You teach very easy away.. Great jobs. Much appreciate.
Great video 👍
Seeing the different area spark plugs is discouraging
My problem is the tool I have is the correct size yet it doesn’t fit in to get the old spark plugs
Do you have any suggestions on a hyundia 2006, I'm trying to do thew back spugs, and it is a complete pain. can you send some help h
One good tip is using a silver sharpie to mark which cylinder each coil is from. I also mark each plug with its corresponding cylinder. Trust me its a good practice not only for diagnosis but also to stay on track of which you already did. Look up the firing diagram and write the number on the porcelain and boom u cant mess up.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Great job! You deserve more credit than you're getting for this! I'll be on the lookout for more!
2:31 You know it's bad when the engine starts sounding like classic american musscle car
What if the spark plug is stripped ? Very hard to run , also the spark plug doesn’t have any grip. Any help ??? No one wants to deal with it
All good information. But what if your car is still running great, but the plugs haven't been changed forever?
My sportage has 315,000 miles on it,still runs good, but I've only changed my plugs one time.
Should I change them or not?
I did this with my friend, both 14, on a Foxbody Stang. The spark plugs didn't line up at all but it worked! Thanks chrisfix 😂
You were driving around with a misfire? As soon as I hear a misfire, I fix it.
This is so well done. You explained everything so perfectly and added so many great examples. Thanks so much.
Can I use a regular silicone grease instead of dielectric grease?
This guy is a life saver
Great video Chris! One of the smoothest jobs I've done thanks to your help!🏁🏎
