  1. Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know how much of an impact you've had on my life. I didn't know what I wanted to do as a career and you have shown me the basics of being a mechanic so I'm going to college in the fall to learn more 🙂

  2. does my tint coat have to be heat resistant if my base coat and and my clear coat are? having a hard time finding the exact color code i want matched for heat resistant paint

  3. 6 years have gone by and I legit searched for THIS video now that im ready to paint some motorcycle projects. Thank you sir!

  4. 5:07 I like to use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol to go around lettering. You’d be surprised by how much junk you can dig out that way.

  5. 13:20 I would recommend that you should scrape off the rust in the heat shield of the exhaust manifold with a metal wire brush before painting it because it makes it look "brand new". Just my opinion…

  6. really should have mentioned this only works for certain types of valve covers in currently scrubbing spray paint out of my valve cover

  7. For some reason I have this feeling like if I ever bumped in to Chris randomly somewhere, he'd have a bottle of soapy woorder in one of his hands.

  8. Chris, just got a question, I intend to paint the cover (which is plastic I guess, can I use the same spray paint as the ones you used for the metal parts?

  9. I’m late to the party, but it’s important to note that there are several different paints, primers as well as several different plastics. Make sure you know what type of plastic you’re working with and make sure your adhesion promoter, primer and paints all work with that plastic or it was peel very quickly.

  10. On each video …Very good explanation, and your advise are so important – well done…your born 4 that Chris Fix…! HeLL΅0 ,from⚜️Qc.🇨🇦

  11. Ngl,should of gotten the polishing wheel out for the logos and below your sticker, gotten that super shiny would have made it POP pop, also, a file on the logo ends would also leave nice bare polished aluminium rather than the kinda still tarnished valve cover…
