  1. Hopefully these tips are helpful. The weather has been horrible here with snow ever couple of days which has put a hamper on filming my regular How-To videos. Hopefully the snow melts soon! I have some awesome videos coming!!!

  2. It is nice to do it for a special snow storm. But this amount of snow falling is too common in Canada and I feel it is hard to do it the whole winter. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  3. Last winter I got stuck in the snow and i was driving my cousins 1983 plymouth capri. So i bought AWD Chrysler Town and country. I'm not generally a minivan person, but I'm a single mom and it works for now. Thank you Chris for making your content. I'm learning so much about working on cars thanks to you!

  4. My pops traveled a lot for work. His preferred method of transportation was the car, which is why he owned 10 of them. Always driving no matter the distance. During winter months he would always keep a sleeping bag & his ski gear in whichever car he chose to drive for that particular trip. Just in case the worst would happen. I do the same. Just a few tips of many this great man passed along. RIP Pops. You are greatly missed.

  5. Why would you take the snow off the carbody of the vehicle if it's not impeding vision? Wouldn't that be just more weight and therefore more traction?

  6. Keeping your gas tank full during cold days in general prevents condensation in the take. That's how you get rusted gas tanks, which creates debris in your tank.

  7. I buy De- Icer in a spray bottle, spray some on my car windows and instantly it melts all the ice. Its worked for me for years.

  8. In the winter, we don't let our tanks go below the halfway mark. We live in a rural area about 20 to 30 miles from the nearest hospital. E-Crews are volunteers. So it's best to make sure we can get emergency medical treatment if the occasion should arise. We run our tanks down to E and do a fresh fill once the snow is done.

  9. I cover my windows on the side and my windshield with garbage bags, but I hold them down with magnets top and bottom. Just make sure you keep the magnets completely on the garbage bags, so they don't actually touch the paint…
