So he gets paid hourly in this is what they agreed to is what I'm hearing I'm still depicted by law he is at work and his company is still liable there Walmart workers don't just throw peeps in there dumpster without charges
3:39 is that andrew tate in the background?
On accident heck!
This was premeditated murder. He thought through it!
Only a million?
They are getting off cheap!
my dad n brother work for fed ex ans before they hire u the do background and drug test. so unless he was hired and they ignored a violent past . that be the only way fed ex is responsible
FILE FOR 25 MILLION NOT ONLY 1 MILL. FEDEX IS A BIG COMAPNY THEY SHOULD BE LOOKING INTO THERE EMPLOYEEES
1 million? I don’t mean to sound callus but that seems like a very conservative settlement.
I hope he takes it to trial. Or get's a very large settlement.
Fedex years ago DECIDED to make their drivers independent contractors and to pay them nothing – and to avoid union wages and benefits etc . . so they are disgusting rapacious sociopaths.
They going after Walmart, too? Walmart used Fedex to deliver the package. What about going after Mattel? They made the Barbies that Walmart sold to the parent, afterall. NO AMOUNT OF MONEY WOULD REPLACE MY DAUGHTER, EVER! Something negative surrounds this poor child's living arrangements at her home.
The driver works for an independent contractor under (FedEx Ground) not FedEx company. Unless it says FedEx express then yes he work for FedEx company. So if he sued FedEx ground he was only going to hurt the contractor not fedex
$1 million that's it!! you should sue for $30 million
Suing FedEx seems farfetched. As for suing the killer…he should be put to death.
1million is nothing. I would sue for 100’s of millions. FedEx makes me sick for not following through w/ background checks. FedEx should settle quickly.
I heard
Only 1 million? That dads being generous… I’d wants MILLIONS! fedex must be held responsible for this
Wtf ..that baaaabyyyyyy
Wow
Well saw that lawsuit to Fedex coming from the beginning. And I don't blame him either!
I’m not buying his defense. If in fact he did accidentally hit Athena then he should have called 911 and tried to render aid. But, like I said he won’t take full responsibility for “ his” actions.
I hope the family wins all their law suits as I’m sure more will follow.
An employee on duty conducting company business in the company truck hit a little girl, put her in the company truck while on duty and killed her, they're liable, simple
I’m sorry but he deserves it… fedex’s job to make sure employees aren’t dangerous, background checks, talking to immediate family about character before being hired etc. it’s a pretty good career as a fedex, ups driver.
Also, fedex is a shipping, delivery company… they are HUGE on routing trucks most efficiently way possible. If this man drove off route a dispatch should have been known right away and could investigate… ( reach out to driver etc )
I understand the sadness of the Father, but dragging his daughter's death for long time in court is disturbing.
It's hard to be picky I guess when they are so desperate for drivers/employees EVERYWHERE!
Fed x never hired him
I just have to say with the amount of ignorance in the comments, this society is F’D! Half these people wanna blame the lack of supervision of the employer. Which is honestly ridiculous. Wake up people!! Anyone can snap and decide to murder someone in the blink of an eye and not have any criminal/mental background whatsoever! It’s not uncommon. It happens! Also some of y’all must be seriously sheltering your child. I can only imagine you allow them to stay in their rooms on video games/phones all day. Probably why a lot of them grow up to be entitled and spoiled like their parents lol! Everyone has taken facts and twisted them into believing what they want to believe, blaming the step mom or the employer. When in reality it’s the person who decided to kill an innocent child. The media gives information that’s twisted and everyone just falls in the hands of it. It’s so unfortunate.
This is beyond infuriating; just a shame!!! …such a beautiful little girl & gone for no reason. I'm livid & I don't know this precious child; all I know is that this shouldn't have happened…to anyone!!! What's wrong w/society when the innocent babies are deleted w/IMPUNITY BY MONSTERS??? She's done absolutely nothing for this to occur…other than be a child. My heart goes out to her family & justice will be served… this is sad…just sad.
He needs to sue for more!!!
If they (FedEx)don’t pay, they would totally get cancelled..
Injured her the best treatment was strangulation. what are evil person seriously
i just don't get it. it literally does not compute in my brain. you accidentally run over a girl, horrible, but forgivable, mistakes happen..so instead of taking responsibility, you kidnap her, terrorize her, and kill her? HUH????????????
Who cares about the payment? The perp MUST die.
Not fedex fault
May as well get paid. Right, Pops? All the money you spent raising that little brat.
Fed ex makes so much money from exploiting their workers. They will settle quick.
That’ll bring your daughter back.. Like hitting the lottery and only had to have your kid die (who you loved so much you decided to forgo your parental duties and visitation to go hunting)
Terrible tragedy. Horrible. But this guy is responsible for his own actions. He should not be able to hold fed ex responsible.
What a pathetic defence
His daughter was living in a shed come on now and it’s a little soon to be suing and what about the stepmom that didn’t even know where she was for over an hour come on now
