Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Barnes has asked Superior Court Judge Jesse I. Rodriguez in court papers to sentence Brandon Ivan Colbert Jr., 23, to two consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole for the Aug. 6, 2016, killings of Carina Mancera, 26, and her daughter, Jennabel Anaya. He was found guilty.
There was no motive, and he meant to kill the father, as well. Luis Anaya did not hire a hitman.
After I saw this clip, and started reading the comments, I realized how many people thought he was responsible for the death of his wife and daughter. I did not believe that one bit. I could see it in his eyes. The few pics shown of him, were not pics of a killer. I just didn"t feel it, so I googled the story to find out if that case was solved.

How is that possible the man in the video was able to shoot someone with a suitcase with him and run off in a split second ? Does that make any sense ? The murderer was found and charged his name is Brandon Colbert. He was convicted of 2 counts of first degree murder & 1 count of attempted murder. He was given 2 life terms without the possibility of parole. Aside from being mentally ill he had stopped taking his medications prior to the murder, "Colbert has repeatedly insisted he is being framed. He has made several references to the 1997 crime drama “Gang Related.†The movie, starring James Belushi and Tupac Shakur, centers on a pair of corrupt police officers who frame a homeless man for the murder of an undercover federal agent." "I don’t believe these people are actually dead because I said this is like a Hollywood movie and I’m not an actor and I don’t want to play this game,†he said, according to a transcript of the hearing." He was on drugs and very disturbed he was on synthetic drugs.
